PSD, PNG ZIP, or a single PNG?
Choose PSD to keep independent layers in one document, PNG ZIP for separate transparent assets, and composite PNG for the visible finished image.
Layered PSD: a document for editing
The PSD contains raster layers in their original stacking order. Names and visibility are included. Hidden layers remain available, and you can move them later. The export does not create native text, vectors, adjustment layers, or original effects.
PNG ZIP: separate files for other tools
Each visible layer becomes a PNG inside the archive. Every file has the same canvas size and origin, including the positions you adjusted. Filenames run from the bottom layer to the top layer.
Composite PNG: what you see is one image
Visible layers are flattened into a single PNG. The checkerboard is only a preview background and is not included in the download. A selected-layer PNG includes only that object, even if its visibility is currently off.
Review before you download
Check the original and layer views, confirm which layers are visible, and inspect the object on light and dark backgrounds. A moved object is clipped at the document boundary. Reset demo restores the starting positions and visibility.
